Pricing, Terms & Ownership
What is the difference between paying monthly and buying outright?
Paying monthly covers your design, build, hosting, maintenance and the ongoing allowances listed in your package, for a 12-month minimum term. Buying outright is a one-off payment for the design and build only - hosting, maintenance, future content changes and ongoing SEO are priced separately.
What happens after the first 12 months of a monthly plan?
Your plan continues monthly and can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ written notice. There is no need to re-sign a new contract.
Can I cancel my monthly plan early?
Yes, in line with your agreement. Cancelling within the initial 12-month term means paying the remaining contracted subscription fees, subject to your consumer rights. Every early-termination charge, refund right and notice period is set out clearly before you sign up.
Can I keep my website if I cancel?
Yes. After your initial 12-month agreement, you can purchase your website and transfer it to another hosting provider. Buyout prices are £399 for Starter, £749 for Business and £1,499 for Growth. Alternatively, you can cancel without purchasing the website, in which case our managed hosting ends in accordance with your agreement. Your domain and your own business content remain yours either way.
Who owns the website during a monthly plan?
We manage the website and its hosting on your behalf. You retain ownership of your business name, domain, supplied materials and original content throughout. Ownership of the design and code, and any transfer or buyout rights, are set out in your agreement.
Do outright purchases include hosting and ongoing SEO?
No. An outright purchase includes your initial design, development and launch only. Hosting and maintenance is available separately from £39 a month, and ongoing SEO or content work is quoted on request. We will never present these as automatically included.
Is VAT included in these prices?
Web Design Coleraine is not VAT registered, so the prices shown are what you pay.
