Case Study - Tourism & visitor guide
Visit Ballymoney
A practical local guide to Ballymoney and the Causeway Coast, covering heritage, countryside and nearby attractions.
The brief
What We Were Asked to Do
Replace a two-years-stale WordPress theme with a genuinely modern, accessible site for Ballymoney and the surrounding Causeway Coast countryside - built fresh rather than reconstructing what was already failing.
Research & discovery
What We Looked Into First
- Every one of the 30 real content pages run through keyword-demand analysis before being rewritten, including several that were empty shells on the old site.
- A cannibalisation issue was found and fixed - two near-duplicate pages merged into one, with a redirect from the other.
- A full standalone Ballymena guide researched from scratch after the client's steer overrode what the raw keyword data suggested, prioritising genuine usefulness over traffic signals alone.
What we recommended
Design & Visual Identity
A fresh coastal-heritage identity - not a reconstruction of the old theme - sharing a visual family with sibling North Coast sites while staying distinct to Ballymoney's own market-town and countryside content.

Logo & identity
New visual identity built for this rebuild, distinct from - but complementary to - sibling North Coast guide sites.
